November 30, 1861 - September 3, 1951
Sarah Gill was born on November 30, 1861, in Orange, Massachusetts. Her parents were Willard S. and Maria Gill. Sarah and her parents moved to the Saugatuck-Douglas area in the early 1870s.

She was a social individual. She was secretary of the Douglas Red Ribbon Club as listed in the "History of Allegan and Barry Counties, MI." It would appear that her involvement with this organization occurred in the late 1870s.
