Architecture
The Sarah M. Kirby House is a two and a half story, hip- and cross-gable Queen Anne-style building, sheathed in clapboard, which is flanked by a two-story round corner bay, and topped by a bell-cast shingled roof. A first story mansard-roofed open porch is supported by flat head round wooden columns which are faced with rusticated stone support posts. It has a projecting first story bay at the first story side elevation, raised pediments surmount the lights at the first and second story, and two side brick chimney and hip-roof attic dormer appear beneath an asphalt singled roof.
