Meet Moscow

Moscow arrived at the Kirby House in August of 1999. We expected her stay to be the length of most visitors . . . a few days. But now eight years later she is still here greeting our guests in the parking lot as they check in. Or, if you are lounging at the pool she may come by and require a little back massage. She roams the grounds daily keeping the pesky critters away, so she earns her keep!

Although she would love to cuddle up with any guest in their bed, she does sleep in the
basement and is not allowed in guest rooms. Sleeping in the basement ensures that she
doesn't make a quick escape during the night and meet up with a bigger critter than herself.
And it makes sure she doesn't sneak into a room and surprise our guests jumping onto their
bed!

She does love attention, so if you meet her on the front porch, or in the hall she may require
a little loving!
